This is a smaller hotfix patch.

Patch highlights:

  • A handful of fixes
  • Balance adjustments
  • Stun Trap bought from the Shop is now a permanent stun unit with a cooldown
  • QoL changes, most notably tower size adjustments, individual towers are a lot easier to see and target

General

Fixes & Additions

  • !Fix: You should now be able to watch other players replays without it replacing your own save file (v2.3b+).
  • !Fix Testing: A major fix for some rarer desyncs predominant in Race mode, might also fix issues in other modes.
  • !Fix: Endless Bonus Creep now properly makes you lose 1 life on leak (was 5).
  • !Fix: Removed “Pure” damage text from most tower’s abilities that shouldn't have had it (text only change).
  • (New) You can now see your Time of Death in Endless mode under the “STATS” window (or if you end early R80+).
  • (New) Remade internal systems to properly work with Sudden Death and disabled abilities.

Visuals & QoL

  • Adjusted damage numbers above towers to no longer show anything for towers below T4 after ROUND 30 in any mode, apart from a few special towers. They still work and deal damage after the round threshold, you just can’t see how much.
    • These changes create more space for other DPS tags to be shown, since there is a hardcoded wc3 limit for them.
    • Excluded towers: Hedgehog T1, Iron Man T1, Light Yagami T2, Karax T2, King’s Mage T3, Chrono T1-3, Gurumi T1-3.
    • The only few towers above T3 not showing damage dealt are Ice Box T4, and the buffing towers: Akainu T4, Grim Reaper Myers T5, Kyrestia T9.
  • Reduced all tower’s model size and height by 5-40% (all towers should be easier to target, and fit better now).
  • Simplified other things regarding targeting towers.
  • Remade all abilities to have minimal or no terrain deforming (fixes lag and other possible issues).
  • ...and a lot of other minor misc. changes here and there.

Tower Adjustments

None of these changes are major per-se, mostly making some underperforming towers great again, and slightly tuning some overperformers down.

Tier 1

  • Kabutops: Base damage from 10 to 15.
  • Knight: Base damage from 10 to 15.
  • Lava Spawn: Base damage from 8 to 5. Attack speed from 0.75 to 0.55.
  • Arrow Tower: Passive [Icy Arrow] chance to proc from 33% to 50%.
  • Archer: Base damage from 5 to 7.
  • Ghoul: Base damage from 15 to 20.
  • Agumon: Base damage from 16 to 20. Attack range from 450 to 550.
  • Gabumon: Base damage from 15 to 20.

Tier 2

  • Salamander: Base damage from 55 to 65.
  • Ueki: Base damage from 40 to 50. Passive [Woodwork] lumber gained (once) from 2 to 3.
  • Icy Elemental: Base damage from 25 to 40. Attack speed from 1.2 to 1.0.
  • Electrified Hermit: Base damage from 20 to 25.
  • Cheese Ramen: Splash AoE from 250 to 300.
  • Goblin Sapper: Active ability [Self Destruct] (partial rework). Full damage (in 700 AoE) from 1200 to 15k. Half damage (in 1250 AoE) from 1200 to 7.5k. (Using Self Destruct now replaces the tower with a Grave Tier 1).
  • Greymon: Base damage from 50 to 65.
  • Garurumon: Base damage from 25 to 35.
  • Nazeebo - Harlequin: Base damage from 70 to 85.
  • Light Yagami: Base damage from 2000 to 1500. Attack speed from 0.8 to 1.0. Max HP damage from 4% to 3%.

Tier 3

  • Nitro Jeep: Attack range from 600 to 650.
  • Lightning Overlord: Attack speed from 0.77 to 0.7.
  • Lillymon: Attack range from 500 to 550. Passive [One with Ice] bonus pure damage to ice-slowed enemies from 150 to 350.
  • Articuno: Passive [Frost Prison] chance from 12.5% to 12%. Now properly ignores armor.
  • Ballista: Passive [Heavy Bolt] removed terrain deformation.
  • Goblin Shredder: Base damage from 150 to 185.
  • MetalGreymon: Base damage from 120 to 130.
  • WereGarurumon: Base damage from 75 to 90.
  • Valla: Attack speed from 0.4 to 0.35.
  • Valla - Mecha: Attack speed from 0.5 to 0.45.
  • King's Mage: Cost to evolve from Dame (T2) from 75g + 8L to 50g + 8L. Base damage from 125 to 150. Passive [King's Call] Firebolt damage from 500 to 750 (pure), stun duration from 0.5s to 0.6s. Icy Spectral (summon) damage from 125 to 150, slow duration from 0.75s to 1s.

Tier 4

  • Mewtwo: Base damage from 70 to 111.
  • Luffy: Passive [Two Piece] bonus damage to stunned enemies from 1500 to 2500 (ignores armor).
  • Zapdos: Passive [Electric Shock] now properly ignores armor.
  • Lord of Fire: Attack speed from 0.8 to 0.7.
  • Inuyasha: Active ability [Wind Scar] removed terrain deformation + vfx change. Active ability [Backlash Wave] max health damage from 20% to 15% (ignores armor).
  • Wargreymon: Base damage from 50 to 100.
  • Dehaka - Mecha: Base damage from 150 to 250. Attack speed from 1.05 to 1.15. Passive [Inner Madness] reworked functionality: Accumulated damage % from 50% to 35%. Max damage for normal rounds from 150k to 200k. (New) Max damage for Damage Test (DT) is 2m.
  • Troll Shadow Hunter: Cost to evolve from Troll Head Hunter (T1) from 150g and 5L to 100g and 5L.

Tier 5

  • Tesla Tower: Base damage from 900 to 1000. Passive [Lightning Overload] damage from 900 to 1000 (pure).
  • Stitches: Base damage from 270 to 350. Attack range from 550 to 500. Passive [Putrid Stitches] AoE from 550 to 500, DPS from 125 to 100, duration from 4s to 2s.
  • Mountain Giant: Attack speed from 1.2 to 1.3.
  • Anduin - Sci-fi Vigilante: Base damage from 375 to 500. Attack speed from 0.7 to 0.6. Active ability [Lightbomb] blast radius from 600 to 750.
  • Tauren Bear Form: (New) Passive [Feral Bash] is now unaffected by the Sudden Death timer.
  • Troll Cat Form: Passive [Feral Claw] chance to proc from 10% to 20%.
  • Spicy Noodle Soup: Base damage from 250 to 300. Attacks miss less from 25% to 50%.

Tier 6 & 7

  • Goblin Alchemist (T6): Attack range from 700 to 750. Passive [Unstable Concoction] proc chance from 18% to 20%, primary target DPS from 500 to 750, secondary target DPS from 250 to 350, bonus damage from 750 to 1000.
  • Officer (T6): Attack speed from 0.45 to 0.6. Passive [Officer’s Stun Gun] stun from 20% chance for 0.5s to 40% chance for 0.1s. Bonus damage on proc from 500 to 750. (New) Ability is unaffected by the Sudden Death timer.
  • Orphea - Mobster (T6): Base damage from 750 to 1000. Attack speed from 0.5 to 0.4. Passive [Overflowing Chaos] base damage per stack from 50% to 100% (max 1000%), %MaxHP per stack from 0.9% to 1.25% (max 12.5%). As long as she hits the same target, stacks don't reset.
  • Li-Ming (T7): Base damage from 250 to 750.
  • Li-Ming - Volleyball (T7): Base damage from 500 to 1500. Attack speed from 0.1 to 0.075.
  • Saitama (T7): Attack range from 700 to 850.

Tier 8 & 9

  • Archimonde (T8): Base damage from 1800 to 2500. Attack range from 1200 to 950.
  • Ice Golem (T8): Active ability [Freeze!] terrain deformation minimized. Charge generation from 125s to 111s. Freeze duration from 2.75s to 3s. Cooldown from 15s to 10s.
  • Kimchi Stew (T8): Passive [Hot Peppers] (Stun version): (New) Unaffected by Sudden Death timer. (Bonus damage version): Chance to proc from 10% to 15%.
  • Broly (T8): Attack speed from 0.45 to 0.6. Adjusted cost of upgrading abilities from 6L (decreases by 1) = 15 total to 16L (decreases by 4) = 36 total. Active [Eraser Cannon] fixed damage bug. Total damage from 30k to 15k, each pulse now has 300 AoE. Passive [Hit Hard] chance to proc from 50% to 35%. Fixed to correctly gain +50% damage from "Seconds". Max %HP damage while under 50% mana from 10% to 5%. Damage to DT from +1000 to +5000.
  • Nerubian Tower (T8): Passive [Undead Powerup] damage increase per T3-7 tower owned from 150 to 175.
  • Demonic Tower (T9): Attack range from 900 to 950. Attacks miss less from 25% to 50%. Passive [Demonic Powerup] bonus damage per T5-9 tower owned from 860 to 880.
  • Avatar of Khaine (T9): Attack speed from 1.35 to 1.25. Passive [Sword of Khaine] stacking damage to Tank (DT) from 400 to 425 (per hit).
  • Samurai Sensei (T9): Passive [Samurai Blade] 5 slow effects bonus pure damage from +7500 to +9000 per hit.
  • Wandering Ghost (T9): (Full rework, functions similarly but better) Base damage from 10k to 1k. Attack speed from 5.0 to 3.0. Attack range from 1000 to 550. Passive [Wandering Horde] removed terrain deformation, max distance from 800 to 1050, AoE from 300 to 500, Horde speed from 100 to 300, damage (per round played) from 100 to 500 (max scaling 50k), ignores armor. Deals 5% max HP damage down from 15%.
  • Mega Gatling Goblin (T9): Passive [Anime Nuke] max multiplier from 350 * 6500 to 350 * 8500. Max damage from 2,275,000 to 2,975,000.
  • Mega-Blastoise (T9): Passive [Mega-Pump] chance to trigger on attack from 3% to 5%.

Shop, Items & Rounds

Shop

  • Pink Wisp cost: from 50g and 2L to 100g (no lumber).
  • Gold Box cost: from 200g and 15L to 200g and 10L.
  • Ice Box cost: from 250g and 10L to 200g and 7L.
  • Ice Box (purchasable amount): from 1 to 2 (both gambling and no-gambling).
  • Stun trap cost: from 50g to 150g and 5L.
  • Stun trap amount: from 5 to 1 (new: permanent unit).

Boxes, Wisps & Items

  • Ice Box (T4): Attack speed from 1.5 to 2.0. Boosted by Spectrum Box: Freeze duration from 1.5s to 2.25s. Multihit: attacks hit 6 enemies at the same time, down from 8.
  • Pink Wisp: Active ability [Cutie Damage] duration from 45s to 60s.
  • Stun Trap (Item -> Companion Unit): (Full rework) Stun Trap is now a companion when bought, use it whenever needed. (Unique: 1). Changed the model. Active ability [Stun Trap] duration from 12.5s to 5s. Cooldown is 120s. Has a mana-indicator for cooldown visibility.

Rounds

Endless Bonus Creep changes make it so that you can actually kill the Bonus Creep early, without having to wait for Divine Shield to run out before you can kill anything.

  • Endless Bonus Creep (after round 60):
    • Life Regen Aura (to nearby creeps %MAX HP/S): From 1%, increasing by 1% every 10 rounds to 0.5%, increasing by 0.5% every 10 rounds. Max %HP regen aura after Round 150+ = 5% (down from 10%).
    • Divine Shield (self): Duration from 10s increased by 5s every 10 rounds to 10s increased by 2.5s every 10 rounds. Max duration is 32.5s (down from 42.5s).

Quests

Adjusted a few Quests to have less RNG-based requirements (not as demanding with more options for completion). Note: These changes will also affect the way certain achievements are completed.

  • [Basic Quest 5] (Ditto/Basic T6):
    • Changed from Tesla (T5) + any other T5 to 4x any T5 tower (duplicates, tech, and special are allowed).
  • [Basic Quest 6] (Gold/Yagami):
    • Changed from 2x unique from a strict list to 3x unique Basic T6 towers. (Ice Samurai, Don Quixote, Edward Elric, Earth Elemental, Whitebeard, Alphamon, Tatsumaki, Lunch).
  • [Special Quest 1] Panda Express (Spicy Noodle Soup):
    • Adjusted requirements from having exactly 4 specific food towers to having 3 unique food towers, one of which must be: Dumpling Noodle Soup (Tier 4). (T1 Gimbap, T2 Cheese Ramen, T3 Nude Gimbap, T4 Dumpling Noodle Soup [REQ], T5 Kimchi & Pork Belly, T6 Lunch, T7 Michelin Steak, T8 Kimchi Stew).
    • Adjusted additional Wisp reward from +1x Pink Wisp to +2x Pink Wisps.
  • [Special Quest 4] Boy Manga (Auras):
    • Adjusted requirements from having exactly 4 specific manga towers to having 4 unique manga towers, one of which must be: Edward Elric (T6). (T2 Ueki, T4 Luffy, T4 Inuyasha, T4 Aokiji, T5 Alphonse Elric, T6 Whitebeard, T6 Edward Elric [REQ], T7 Van Hohenheim, T7 Saitama, T8 Broly, T8 Exodia).
    • Adjusted gold gain reward if already at max auras (per roll) from +75g to +125g (new max is +500g if already at full auras).
  • [Special Quest 5] Loathing in Vegas (Smoke Box):
    • Fixed the requirement: 1x Lava Spawn (as stated), instead of 2x Lava Spawns (bug).

Achievements

  • [Captain Morgan]: Added requirement: 3x Aokiji (T4).
  • [Ghost Reaper]: Time requirement from 25 mins to 28 mins.
  • [Noob King]: King's Mage requirement from 2x to 1x (you can only have one at any given time in v2.3+).
  • [Merchant]: Hidden requirements need to be met before Round 100, up from Round 80 (need to clear round 100).
  • [The Emperor]: You can now have T6 towers in play. Be careful! Building T5 or T6 towers can quite easily complete certain Quests, which is not allowed.
