The v2.1 patch was a big one, and with such a large update, a few bugs and balance issues unfortunately slipped through our eyes.
This hotfix update should resolve most of the major issues, and we’ve also added a few tools to help with keeping up with your progress. While some balance issues may remain, we are closely monitoring the situation and will act as needed.
If any issues still persist, please let us know through the bug reporting forum on Bugs and Suggestions (Discord).
Please note: Playing versions earlier than v2.1 will overwrite any new achievements earned in v2.1 or later. We recommend backing up your save files, either locally or via our Discord bot, to avoid losing progress.
General
- All bosses now also give you +1 lumber when killed, in addition to the gold bonus
- Adjusted the Pikachu-Raichu-AlolanRaichu line - the evolutions now cost more lumber, nerfing end-game use slightly
- Pile of Wood should now feel like a more approachable end-game line, in addition to the one mentioned above
- Tower Enhancement bonus %current hp has been halved - from 0.10% per level to 0.05% per level (0.25% max at lvl5)
- Green Wisp “Wisp’s Rage” has been nerfed slightly, from +175 damage to +150 damage
- Downgrade cost from 15g to 25g
- Adjusted/fixed several incorrect tooltips and messages
- Adjusted Tank’s (DT) base armor from 15 to 22
- If you have no armor reduction for DT, you’ll be doing little to no damage to it
- Stacking all armor debuffs from your towers is max. -24 with Destroyer or -26 with Hohenheim
- Can also be boosted further by Orange Wisp (additional -7 armor temporarily)
- Added a “Quests/Achievements” button at the top, you can now directly see what you have unlocked, and what’s missing
- Shows Quests completed during your current run
- Shows Achievements completed during your current run
- Shows Achievements already completed (ever)
- Shows Achievement unlock info (how to get them)
- Shows partial Achievement progress for i.e. Mario or Giovanni
- Added a button that appears after Round 80 in Endless mode
- It can be used to get out of round stopping bugs if they still happen, or just to have faster games
- The button allows you to end your run early and enter the pre-DT phase
- You can use the button at any point after the round threshold, but you don’t have to if you want to keep going
- You still need to either finish DT or skip it in the “Start DT” dialog if you want to save
Note: You still need to head over to the Cosmetic Pumpkin to equip your titles/skins/wings/colors
Note2: it doesn’t show Extra Quest 1 or 2 atm.
Fixes
- Testing fixes for known game crash issues
- Fixed issues caused by Mode Selection screen
- Fixed and reworked DPS tags to be more responsive with less issues (if any issues remain, let us know)
- Fixed summons to properly add damage to their parent tower’s DPS numbers (King’s Mage, Lich King, Shaman, etc.)
- Fixed all achievements to work properly (let us know asap if some achievements still don’t work as advertised)
- Namely Noob, D’Va, Hitsugaya, Devil Wisp, Paladin, Super Saiyan, Wings 10, Wings 11, and several others
- Fixed issues with Wisps incorrectly counting towards quests, achievements or tower upgrades even after they had been used
- Fixed “Stop” and “Attack” buttons to be properly disabled when initiating Damage Test (DT)
- Fixed Pile of Wood gambling reward to work as intended in Extreme and Master modes
- Fixed other various issues in Extreme and Master modes
- Fixed a handful of visual issues with cosmetics (skins/colors/wings)
- Fixed a visual bug with Shop items

Shop
- Added 1 purchasable Pile of Wood to the Shop in gambling enabled modes
- Increased the amount of Pile of Wood for no-gambling modes from 2 to 4
- Adjusted the cost of Pile of Wood in the shop:
- From 10 lumber to 150 gold and 5 lumber
- Adjusted Frost Nova cost from 25g to 15g
Towers
- All towers that had 100% chance for attacks to not miss, now have a 90% chance to miss less (mostly relevant for Endless)
- There’s now 3 tiers of “miss less”: 25%, 50%, and 90%
- Only exception is Hedgehog (T1), as its’ attacks naturally ignore evasion
Pile of Wood
- The cost from T1 to T8 is now 15 lumber less, a total of (69).. nice
- (Shop) Added 1 purchasable Pile of Wood to the Shop in gambling enabled modes
- (Shop) Increased the amount of Pile of Wood for no-gambling modes from 2 to 4
- Adjusted the lumber costs:
